Range: $84,500- $95,000 based on experience

Position Summary: The Director of Campus Safety and Security (CSS) will have a robust understanding of contemporary challenges inherent to a small, private, residential college campus with campuses located in Potsdam, NY as well as in the Beacon and Capital Region. This position will develop and implement community and service-driven campus safety policies and practices reflecting the needs and values of our diverse community and be in service to them.

The Director will focus on using a holistic, inclusive, and tiered response model for campus safety services which will:

General Purpose: The Director of CSS ensures that a safety-oriented and community- and prevention-based approach is taken into consideration in all work that is carried out by the department. This relies on building and maintaining productive relationships with campus and community constituents.
